Haystack Cookies - 2024 Q1 Stash Buster Pattern

Haystack Cookies pattern was originally part of our first ever Quiltworx Quilt Box series of 2024, as the first quarter Stashbuster pattern. It’s an adorable table runner that sews together quickly whether you’re an experienced paper piecer or new to our patterns.

This small pattern is the perfect introduction to Quiltworx and Judy’s techniques for paper piecing, and includes Instructions, Yardage Information, and Foundations Papers, along with information on how to expand the pattern to a larger size. For the 40×40 quilt, you’ll need Quiltworx Charm Elements Pack #3.

Plus, Judy recorded a block demonstration on this pattern as well! It is available to reference forever on our YouTube Channel. Make sure to subscribe so you never miss video content from Judy Niemeyer and Quiltworx.com.

Also, Haystack Cookies is available as a downloadable pattern exclusively through the Quiltster Marketplace for $19.75! Anemone

Certified Instructor Kelly Grant, owner of Certified Shop, Cactus Quilting

The Anemone quilt, designed and pieced by Certified Instructor, Kelly Grant, owner of Certified Shop Cactus Quilting, is a unique creation that combines two distinct Mixer Patterns from Quiltworx.com.

The Willow Star Mixer forms the circular center of the quilt, with a diameter of 62 inches. Surrounding this is a 4-inch wide ring created by the Sunrise Mixer, increasing the total diameter to 70 inches. A border is then added to square off the quilt at 80 inches. Anemone incorporate all of the latest techniques from Quiltworx and is assembled in a straightforward approach.

This pattern was originally released in 2016, but some are still in stock and available for retail purchase. There are no kits available.
