This project is designed as a beginner pattern to introduce quilters to paper piecing. Construction of the quilt is fast as only one foundation block is used throughout, but the use of precut strips makes the project colorful and original for each participant. You will have the option to make a 3 by 3 block

This 5 month long program will teach you to construct an heirloom quality quilt. It is referred to as a technique of the month program because each month's class focuses on a different quilting/piecing skill. You will learn curved flying geese, New York beauty style blocks, Lone Star flower centers, piped edges, and curved piecing.Â
