The Fire Island Hosta was introduced in 2015. Then cam the queen version along with Lakeshore Hosta (wall) and Lily Pond Hosta (queen). While those patterns have since been discontinued, the Fire Island Hosta was updated in 2025 to utilize all the latest and greatest techniques from Quiltworx. Additionally, a Hosta Mixer was created for both the wall and queen sized projects facilitating a “design your own” Hosta project. Regardless of what you are doing for a Hosta pattern, join Certified Instructor Jan Mathews for a fun learning experience. Jan makes understanding the Quiltworx language easy. Plus there are always tips / tricks shared to make your life less stressed. Quilter’s Quarters in Conroe, Texas has a great classroom with sturdy wood tables. Class is structured for a total of 6 sessions taught two at a time with a couple week between in order to complete all sewing in time to final assemble at the last class session.
