Winter Traditions is a block / sashing with cornerstones pattern format from Quiltworx introduced at Fall Market (2017). The pattern spotlights a feathered star, snowflake, and compass block all designed by Judy and Bradley Niemeyer. After the airing of “Fabric of Christmas” (a Hallmark movie) in 2025, Winter Traditions was updated with optional extension borders which give the option of taking the finished top to 112″ x 112″. Join Quiltworx Certified Instructor, Jan Mathews, for this 5-day class to learn paper piecing (Judy style) and techniques which include floating points, curved piecing, and component assembly. Class is geared toward Advanced Beginners (completed at least 5 quilts) or above skill levels and will be held at Quilter’s Emporium in Stafford, Texas. Some pre-class preparation is required.
