The Wedding Ring has long been one of the most popular patterns in traditional quilting. Judy and Brad Niemeyer have designed several iterations of the traditional wedding ring as well as put their own stamp on the design (placing a star in the center). This class will afford you an opportunity to make either the traditional version – Flowers For My Wedding Ring – with the addition of flying geese and applique borders or the Bali Wedding Star version – you determine the size ranging from table topper, bed runner, throw, all the way to a full sized quilt. Class will meet once a month for three months to afford participants ample sewing time between classes. The goal is to begin assembly of your quilt at the last session.
