Susan Deshensky has been a Quiltworx Certified Instructor since 2017 and teaches at quilt shops, quilt guilds and retreats. Susan attends trainings with Judy Niemeyer on a regular basis and it is with great pride that she learns the latest techniques and textile education, so that she can pass this information along to her students. Since 2023, Susan has been an Island Batik (Lumin Fabrics) Brand Ambassador. Susan is available to travel, teach in-person or on Zoom, teach for private groups or give individual help sessions. She enjoys teaching and encouraging her students to have the confidence to make beautiful quilts that they can be proud of. Susan has also had over twenty-five of her original patterns published in magazines. Her quilts have won several awards, including 3rd place at AQS Paducah and 1st place at MQX New England. Her quilts have been featured in the AQS 2025 and 2026 engagement calendars.
