This 5 month long program will teach you to construct an heirloom quality quilt. It is referred to as a technique of the month because each class focuses on a different quilting/piecing skill. You will learn curved flying geese, New York beauty style blocks, Lone Star flower center, piped edges, and curved piecing. You will learn Judy Niemeyer’s paper piecing techniques including cutting by templates, stacking, chain piecing, and the use of registration points for final assembly. Those class members that choose the 96 x 96 queen size may need to meet on a sixth month to understand the construction of the outside swag and tassel border. This is the third of 5 classes.
