Soldotna, AK, daytime retreat November 2025 with Quiltworx Certified Instructor

November 3-8, 2025
Monday 10 am through Saturday noon (Carin’s flight doesn’t get in until mid-day Monday so you’ll start without me — that’s okay, but don’t have all the fun until I get there!)
Location: Christ Lutheran Church, 128 N. Soldotna Ave, AK 9669
We are not being charged to use their facility so please plan to bring a cash donation to add to an envelope – amount is at your discretion.
Hours: Monday open at 10 am and then Tues-Sat we will have the sewing room open from 9 am to 5 pm daily (this time can be flexible), but one evening the church will use the space so we’ll need to accommodate that.
Fee: $300 (4 lunches included)
Food: Sharon will be providing us lunch Monday through Thursday. We can go out to eat on Friday (or have leftovers) and then we’re gone by lunchtime on Saturday. Breakfast and dinner are on your own. (Please advise of any dietary cautions when you sign up.) And of course feel free to bring snacks to share.
Accommodations: For those needing accomodations, the Soldotna Inn is very close to the church and has Mykel’s Restaurant attached for dining. https://www.soldotnainn.com/
Project: This is an open-project workshop so bring any Quiltworx projects you want to work on or need help with.
Patterns: I offer 20% off Quiltworx patterns at my events! Please let me know what you want by Oct. 15 so I can place an order to have shipped directly to Alaska. I’ll remind you as we get closer, too.
