Ready for a fun, small, beginner Quiltworx project? You’ll definitely want to make the Poinsetta table topper quilt with Quiltworx/Judy Niemeyer Certified Instructor Carin Brimley. This is a GREAT introductory pattern for learning how the Quiltworx/Judy Niemeyer projects are made. It is PERFECT for BEGINNERS at foundation paper piecing. The pattern uses a basic paper piecing technique to create a 30″ diameter table topper. Our samples are round, but the project can be made as a square topper also.
Carin offers a FREE pre-class Zoom consult to color your project using the Quiltster program to make it truly your own. You will get exact fabric requirements and a color picture of your personal project. Carin will also send a video with the pre-class prep of the booklet and papers so you can begin sewing on day one.
The Poinsetta Quilt will be the focal project for the class, but if you are already a fan of the beautiful quilts that can be made from Quiltworx patterns, but want a chance to work on a project of your choice and take advantage of Carin’s expertise in the classroom for two days, then you are welcome to join the class and work on your own project.
Skill Level: Confident Beginner (must know how to use a sewing machine)
