Honeymoon Bay, nestled in the sleepy village of Honeymoon Bay, Lake Cowichan, Vancouver Island, is always a popular destination for my quilters. It is a serene, quiet resort, just 7 minutes walk to the lake and surrounded by beautiful gardens and trees. The food is outstanding, and personally prepared by the chef, Susie, who often uses produce from her garden when it is in season.
This is a mystery quilt retreat, but what I can tell you is that it will be a unique Quiltworx foundation paper pieced project created from one of the Mixer series, suitable for confident beginners and above. You will get to choose from 2 or 3 colour ways in advance. Your quilt will be prepped, your fabrics and papers predominantly cut, by the time you get to retreat.
You will have the option to expand your quilt to a Queen size using coordinating fabrics, if this is ordered in advance.
