Moonglow Cactus is a pattern that is part of the Congo Star Mixer series by Quiltworx. The pattern is broken into 6 groups. Some of the techniques that we will use include flying geese, star points and curved piecing. This is a five-session class. In the first class, we review the pattern, cut pattern papers, review fabric requirements and cutting fabrics. If we have time, we will begin sewing on Group A and Group C. The successive classes will be paper piecing the units. The last class will be catch and assembly. You may not finish the quit in class but will learn the skills needed to finish it at home. Please bring all your fabric and supplies to class.
