Sandy is an avid quilter, enjoying all types of projects she makes for friends and family. At the urging of a friend in 2016, Sandy completed her first Quiltworx pattern, Prismatic Star, and really enjoyed Judy’s approach to paper piecing. Sandy appreciates the precise way the seemingly complex designs come together using techniques such as smart corners, and reference points. She loves the color selection process that enables the creation of beautiful projects from placemats to queen size quilts. Sandy has completed over a 150 Quiltworx projects of varying sizes and looks forward to making many more.
Sandy is excited to be a Judy Niemeyer Certified Instructor and work with her students to finish their Quiltworx projects and become advocates for Judy’s foundation paper piecing approach. Her personal goal is to help quilters of all skill levels realize they can create that special Quiltworx project for themselves or others.
