Carol Hattan and Anne Shepherd, CI in training, will team up to introduce guild members to foundation piecing by giving students a choice between two patterns to work with.  Lotus Flower and Watermelon Placemates were choosen because they will facilate the introduction of skill like foundation piecing, curves and viens as well as applique.
