Join Terre Walker in this 6-part class that meets once a month to create an heirloom quilt that is Judy Niemeyer’s fourth Technique of the Month pattern. Each class focuses on a separate technique that includes flying geese, New York Beauty style blocks, Lone Star flower centers, piping edges, and curved piecing. You will learn Quiltworx techniques for paper piecing including cutting with templates, stacking organization, chain piecing, and the use of registration marks for assembly. This pattern comes in queen size and wall size.
This first meeting is an optional organizational day. We will be cutting your fabric strips and trimming your papers and organizing them into bags so that you are prepared for your first class in the month of March.
