The Tea Time Placemats are 11″ x 22″ and are a fun beginner pattern. You can make all four the same — or make all four different. They are so versatile! Judy and Brad Niemeyer designed these using foundation paper-piecing techniques to assemble the units. Then use some curved piecing to join the units.
The pattern uses basic paper-piecing techniques in straight lines and gentle curves, making it a quick, easy project. For more advanced paper-piecing quilters, you’ll zoom right through this!
FREE to registrants: Carin offers a PRE-class Zoom consultation to color your project using her Quiltster program to make your table topper truly your own AND get exact fabric requirements and a color picture of your project before you even get started! If you haven’t done one of these consults with Carin before, you need to. It’s amazing and so much fun.
If you prefer to choose fabric on your own, please download the Yardage Requirements listed below. For this pattern one colorway is shown. Choose that or let your creativity soar to come up with your own unique colorway. These would be lovely in holiday-themed fabrics!
