If you’ve ever wanted to make a Quiltworx pattern, then come join the fun as Certified Instructor Melody Maskus takes you through all the steps and techniques to create the newest Technique of the Month – Carnival Flower. Released in January of 2023, this stunning design will easily be an heirloom showstopper to add to your personal repertoire. This 8-session, $300 series of classes will be held the 1st Saturday of each month from June through January. Techniques learned during class will include Curved Piecing, Strip Piecing, the Quiltworx method of cutting, stacking and chain piecing foundation paper piecing, Appliqué, and how to use Smart Corners and TRP (Transition & Registration Point) Lines. Melody will also share a wealth of tips, tricks, hints and methods on how to streamline your work and bring your overall piecing techniques to a higher and more efficient level.
Class time is 10:00a.m. to 4:00. Fabric kits of the Cover Photo/Store Sample can be purchased directly from the Clubb’s Fabric store.
Patterns for this kit are sold separately, and can be purchased from Melody after class registration is completed. Wall size pattern of 80″ x 80″ ($145) or Queen size pattern of 99″ x 99″ ($195) are available.
If you would like to create your own color way, this class includes a personal, color consultation with CI Melody Maskus, prior to the first class to help you select fabric colors. Using Quiltster, an exclusive fabric selection software program, Melody can help you create the quilt of your dreams, PLUS give you exact fabric requirements to assist you when purchasing yardage.
