DESCRIPTION:8-part course over 9 months \nCarnival Flower is a Technique of the Month foundation paper-piecing pattern. Over the monthly sessions students will be guided through the processes and steps used within the 10 groups to complete their own Quiltworx masterpiece. Through completing one group at a time\, beginning with the border\, students will become familiar with the basic techniques before undertaking the visually more complex sections. The basic construction technique used in each section\, is a very structured repetitive process\, producing stunning results upon final construction. Included in Carnival Flower are some advanced techniques. These are made achievable for even a confident beginner with the pattern design\, detailed written and visual instructions and support from a Quiltworx Certified Instructor.

DESCRIPTION:We are excited to bring you our retreats for 2027!  Our events are open events meaning you are free to bring any pattern that Quiltworx.com has designed to work on while attending your retreat. \nTOTAL SPACES:  11 \nSTANDARD RESERVATION TOTAL COST: $2\,350\nPRIVATE ROOM RESERVATION TOTAL COST (ONLY 1 AVAILABLE): $2\,850\nOFF-SITE RESERVATION TOTAL COST (UP TO 2 AVAILABLE): $1\,750 \n*The off-site reservation option requires that book your own lodging* \nThis retreat will be held at the Quiltworx Training Center\, which is located at 100 Lincoln Lane\, Kalispell MT.  The Quiltworx Training Center is a full-time retreat center\, so you will be required to pay a 8% bed tax. This tax will be paid at the end of your stay during checkout. \nThere are no meals provided on the day of check-in. \nOur March #1 Retreat will include: \nCheck-in: 3/7/2027 at 3:00 p.m.\nTeaching: 3/8/2027-3/12/2027\nCheck-out: 3/13/2027 at 9:00 a.m. \n3 meals served Monday through Friday which includes continental breakfast\, and lunch and dinner catered by Tamarack Brewing Company\, in Lakeside\, MT. \nFor this retreat\, the Quiltworx  Training Center Retreat schedule will be as follows: \nJudy will be at the training center the night of check in for a couple hours to greet everyone and help you get set up. \nThe second night you will have a trunk show. \nThe retreat will include five days of teaching.  You will receive 6 hours of instruction on the teaching days. \nEvery Retreater will receive 1 Month of Quiltster (provided when you get to the Retreat).  You will also receive a $25.00 Shopping Credit.  And finally\, we will be offering free shipping for anyone that wants to ship their products home (50% off International Shipping)!  Judel will also be on-hand throughout the week to help you design custom colorways of your favorite Quiltworx Designs\, so be sure to think about what you might like kitted before you come! \nOne afternoon during the week of teaching days will be a shopping day where you can travel to the local quilt shops in the area. \nAn initial deposit of $400 is due upon signup for this retreat and is NON-REFUNDABLE.  A second NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $400\, is due 6 months prior to the start date of your retreat. DESCRIPTION:Zoom in on 6 Saturdays in March\, April and May with CI Donna Viau to make this NEW Technique of the month quilt called ARCADIA! \nWhat a beauty with so many color options and kits available\, you will have a hard time making up your mind!  The pattern will be Quiltster compatible\, and Donna will be hosting a separate evening zoom session on January 13\, 2027 to help you color your own version.  You may also purchase a kit from any Quiltworx Certified Shop – or directly from The Masquerade with pre-orders happening in June 2026. \nYou will learn how to prepare your pattern and fabric using Template Layout sheets\, how to color your quilt using the Quiltster app\, how to piece floating points\, piano keys\, stacked X seams\, gentle curves\, narrow veins\, applique (optional on all colorways) – all with the Quiltworx method of foundation paper piecing.  Donna Viau is a Certified Instructor who has an unlimited amount of patience\, and will guide you through the entire project all the way to your last stitch. \nThere will be links to video tutorials that you can access while working on “homework” between class days – so you can always refresh your memory with what you learned in each class.  These tutorials can be watched On Demand at your own pace in your own space – so you can pause\, “rewind”\, and play over the parts you need extra visual instruction for. You get a great view of Donna’s “Quilting Hands” that can’t be beat\, so you won’t ever miss a stitch! \nThe class you choose will only allow up to 20 participants\, so that everyone gets the personal attention they need.  You will be able to pay one class day at a time\, or 3 at a time\, or the entire class in one shot.  You will need to purchase at least one class day in order to reserve your spot before they fill up.
