DESCRIPTION:8-part course over 9 months \nCarnival Flower is a Technique of the Month foundation paper-piecing pattern. Over the monthly sessions students will be guided through the processes and steps used within the 10 groups to complete their own Quiltworx masterpiece. Through completing one group at a time\, beginning with the border\, students will become familiar with the basic techniques before undertaking the visually more complex sections. The basic construction technique used in each section\, is a very structured repetitive process\, producing stunning results upon final construction. Included in Carnival Flower are some advanced techniques. These are made achievable for even a confident beginner with the pattern design\, detailed written and visual instructions and support from a Quiltworx Certified Instructor.

DESCRIPTION:This is part 3 of 4.  No worries!  If you missed our first 2 classes\, you can still sign up and catch up with video tutorials available after purchasing your seat in class. \nThis Quiltworx class will have you making your own Arctic Star quilt in one of two sizes.  You can choose the Arctic Star wall size quilt at 68″ or the Arctic Star queen size quilt at 99″. \nThis pattern is full of Floating Points\, Lone Sart diamonds\, Curvy Flying Geese\, Narrow Veins\, NY Beauty Blocks and Gentle curves.  This 4 day class is conveniently scheduled for Wednesday evenings to accomodate those who work – or those busy retired quiter’s who want to still do things on weekends with their family and friends. \nIn class you will tackle preparing the pattern papers and fabric on your own with an easy pre-recorded On Demand video of the process\, so that you can get everything prepped and ready for class prior to us meeting on the first evening.  After each class you will also receive a video of all that was covered during class\, so that you can sew with confidence as you complete your homework between classes.  Our Quiltworx Certified Instructor Donna Viau will support you every step of the way – to the very last stitch of your quilt!
