DESCRIPTION:Join me at CPQ Studio for an evening of fun\, friendship and uninterrupted quilting! Any type of quilt or project can be worked on including QUILTWORX.  Bring a QUILTWORX project you are starting or a project that you want to get back to and need assistance getting started again! CPQ will provide cutting and pressing areas and equipment. All you need to do is bring your project and machine!! The cost of this event is $20.00. A $5.00 registration fee is collected upon registration and the balance of $15.00 will be collected the day you attend. Please register by adding this to your cart. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS EVENT. If class is full you can add your name to the wait-list and I will contact you if a seat opens up!

SUMMARY:Quilting in the Lowlands (The Netherlands)
DESCRIPTION:I’m thrilled announce that I’ll be joining the faculty for the 2026 Quiltworx retreat Quilting in the Lowlands.  Come quilt with us in the beautiful northeastern part of The Netherlands.   We’ll be staying at the Fletcher Hotel in Exloo\, about 2 hours by car\, east of Amsterdam\, near the Drentsche Aa National Park. This area is known for its meandering river\, great walking and cycling trails and a relaxing setting. \nThis 10 day retreat will be English spoken and presented by an international team of instructors including Netherlands-based Certified Instructor and host\,  Marianne Martens-Niemeijer\,  May Black a fellow US-based C.I. and and two more Netherland-based instructors Inge Janssens and Janet Wielinga in addition to myself! Check out the link below for the details on this inclusive\, 10 day\, quilt focused get away with lots of perks and support! \n\n\nWhile 2026 seems like a long time away\, don’t wait too long to register\, there is space for about 30 quilters and  we are almost halfway booked!   Registrants to-date are coming from the USA\, Canada\, Ireland\, Great Britain and the Netherlands!   I hope you’ll join us for this great retreat!

DESCRIPTION:An English spoken retreat especially for quilters from the USA\, Canada\, Australia and the UK\n\n\nCome to Drenthe in the northern area of the Netherlands and enjoy a 10 day retreat with the team of CI Marianne Martens-Niemeijer.\n\nWe are delighted to invite you to a fantastic retreat in May 2026. We will stay in a beautiful hotel in Drenthe. The location is unique. Adjacent to nature reserves\, away from the highway and also centrally located in the north of the Netherlands near the three provinces point of Friesland\, Groningen and Drenthe.  There are no fewer than 2 flocks of sheep with a shepherd who keep the heath in good condition. In this National Park you can still enjoy an endless\, undisturbed horizon… Are you lucky? Then you might come across this herds. It is always an impressive sight when the shepherd and his dogs tend the flock. It is a beautiful spectacle to watch the dynamics between dog\, herd and shepherd. \n
