DESCRIPTION:Join certified instructor Jodie Madison as we construct this gorgeous 99″ by 99″ quilt called Crossroads.  The real beauty of cross roads is that it uses a strip set or jelly roll for a large chunk of the quilt.  During this retreat we will learn efficient cutting and stacking techniques that can be used in any of Quiltworx patterns.  We also take a look at basic paper piecing techniques along with ways to stay organized when constructing a quilt this large.  Another neat thing with this pattern is that we can expand the size of this quilt easily by adding additional papers.

You will learn Quiltworx techniques for paper piecing including cutting with templates\, stacking organization\, chain piecing\, and the use of registration marks for assembly. This pattern comes in queen size and wall size. \nThis first meeting is an optional organizational day.  We will be cutting your fabric strips and trimming your papers and organizing them into bags so that you are prepared for your first class in the month of March.
