SUMMARY:QuiltWorx Winter Traditions
DESCRIPTION:Judy & Brad Niemeyer designed this quilt by re-creating 3- 16″ traditional blocks.  The first is a unique Snowflake design\, the second is a traditional Compass block\, & the 3rd is a traditional Feathered Star block.  All three blocks are very fun and interesting to assemble.\nAnd a new twist has been added to this quilt in 2025!  A King Border and additional embellishments have been created based on a quilt created by one of Judys Certified store in Canada.  Their quilt was prominently featured in a Hallmark christmas show in 2024 and became so popular that Judy worked with the store and created a publishable King extension for Winter traditions. \nIn this class you can choose to create the 85″x85″ original quilt\, the “New” King sized quilt or we have other new border options that will allow you to create any other size you want.cutting papers or yardage in class. SUMMARY:Wedding Ring Class (1 of 3 Sessions)
DESCRIPTION:The Wedding Ring has long been one of the most popular patterns in traditional quilting.  Judy and Brad Niemeyer have designed several iterations of the traditional wedding ring as well as put their own stamp on the design (placing a star in the center).  This class will afford you an opportunity to make either the traditional version – Flowers For My Wedding Ring – with the addition of flying geese and applique borders or the Bali Wedding Star version – you determine the size ranging from table topper\, bed runner\, throw\, all the way to a full sized quilt.  Class will meet once a month for three months to afford participants ample sewing time between classes.  The goal is to begin assembly of your quilt at the last session.  Join Jan Mathews\, Certified Instructor\, at Quilter’s Emporium in Stafford\, Texas and add a wedding ring quilt to your quilt collection.

DESCRIPTION:It’s the season for Freaky Fridays!  Come spend 4 Friday afternoons with us before Halloween is here and make the Hocus Pocus quilt with Donna at The Masquerade.  We have just 2 seats in our studio – and plenty more on Zoom – so everyone can join the fun! \nThis quilt finishes to 80″ x 80″\, but can be expanded to a king size 118″ with extra borders!  Learn to piec floating points\, 5 point stars\, stacked X seams and gentle curves in this class.  We will meet on 4 Fridays for Fun and Fantastic quilting moments! \nYou will receive video tutorials prior to class to help you prepare your fabric and pattern papers before we get together.  Then you will recieve more video links after each class is over to follow along with Donna doing exactly what we did in class to finish up your homework.  Of course\, Donna is always available and happy to help you out along your journey – all the way to the last stitch of your project!
