SUMMARY:QuiltWorx Winter Traditions
DESCRIPTION:Judy & Brad Niemeyer designed this quilt by re-creating 3- 16″ traditional blocks.  The first is a unique Snowflake design\, the second is a traditional Compass block\, & the 3rd is a traditional Feathered Star block.  All three blocks are very fun and interesting to assemble.\nAnd a new twist has been added to this quilt in 2025!  A King Border and additional embellishments have been created based on a quilt created by one of Judys Certified store in Canada.  Their quilt was prominently featured in a Hallmark christmas show in 2024 and became so popular that Judy worked with the store and created a publishable King extension for Winter traditions. \nIn this class you can choose to create the 85″x85″ original quilt\, the “New” King sized quilt or we have other new border options that will allow you to create any other size you want.cutting papers or yardage in class. DESCRIPTION:Tracy\, will be teaching at DOVER QUILT RETREAT in Dover\, Delaware October 2nd-7th\, 2025! Join her for a 5 night “Anything Quiltworx” retreat. Check-in is at noon on Thursday and check-out is 3 pm on Tuesday. Work on any project of your choosing (please bring with you unless you have worked with Tracy ahead of time to arrange your kit). If you are new to Quiltworx\, WELCOME! Tracy loves Quiltworx “newbies”! \nThe sewing space is well lit with cutting and pressing stations. Each student will have their own 63″x24″ table and rolling chair. You may bring a small side table and your own travel iron if you desire. \nPrice includes 24 hour access to the sewing space\, accommodations (double occupancy- twin beds – bring your own bedding and pillow) and 5 days of instruction which generally runs from 9 AM to 4 PM. Dinner (pizza) on Thursday night will be provided. Separate pantry and refrigerator for retreaters.
