DESCRIPTION:Come join Certified Instructor Tina Lueders at the beautiful Stitchin’ Heaven Retreat Center in Quitman\, TX.  Check in is on Wednesday\, August 20th at 1:00 pm with a “Get Acquainted” dinner at 6:00 pm.  Breakfast\, Lunch and Dinner are provided on Thursday-Saturday.  Breakfast is provided on Sunday\, August 24th and checkout is at 11:00 am.  The sewing room is open around the clock for you night owls and early birds.  On Saturday evening we’ll have a “Trunk Show” and “Ta-Da’s”. \nCost of the Retreat: $575 – Pricing is based on double occupancy room. Each room will sleep two and has a private bathroom.  Maximum 24 guest. \n\nif you require a private room\, then you will need to rent a cottage from Stitchin’ Heaven for the duration of the retreat.  You will receive a discount of $125 off of our retreat cost if you are staying in a cottage.  Friends of Judy Retreats will not be responsible for the rental of cottages through Stitchin’ Heaven\, that is something that you will need to do on your own. The rental of cottages is between Stitchin’ Heaven and you.\n\n\nIf you would like to rent a sewing machine from Stitchin’ Heaven\, you can contact Stitchin’ Heaven Event Department for more information.  Please contact them at least two months before the retreat to ensure availability. \nBring your Judy Niemeyer/Quiltworx patterns and fabric ready to sew and we’ll help you finish up those beautiful UFO’s.

DESCRIPTION:This is a two part class.  Students will creat their first diamond in from either a strip set or by designing their own pattern within the diamond unit. Students should talk with Carol before the class to determine the supplies need. For the 68″ quilt they will need either a strip set by Quiltworx or 48 s trips (2 1/2″) of their color choice. A queen will take two strip sets or 96 strips. During the second class the quilt units will be put together. \n
