DESCRIPTION:Quilt Camp 2025:  Join Quiltworx.com for a Northwest Montana Themed Quilting Retreat!  These 9 night\, events\, include lodging and food (on days when teaching is happening)\, 5 days of class\, and 3 days to Explore Northwest Montana on your terms!  Popular demand has requested retreats that allow our Quilters not only time to quilt with Judy\, but time to explore one of the most sought after summer vacation spots in the US\, Northwest Montana!  There are endless ways to enjoy the Flathead Valley in the summer. \nTake a local shopping trip (or two!) to any of our resort towns\, including Whitefish\, Bigfork\, Kalispell\, or Columbia Falls.  Organize a drive through Glacier National Park on the famous Going to the Sun Highway.  Drive around Flathead Lake and visit Cherry Orchards\, take in the views\, and enjoy lunch and dinner at one of the many outdoor patios on the shores of the lake.  Take a chairlift ride up Whitefish Mountain.  Hike or Bike in Montana’s Backcountry.  Book a Far West Cruise on Flathead Lake.  Try out a Rafting Trip\, fishing charters\, float a local river\, take a kayak or paddle board into Somers Bay… the options are endless!  We have many local outdoor music events\, arts and craft shows\, wonderful farmers Markets\, and quilt shops from one end of the Valley to the other!  With playhouses in Bigfork and Whitefish\, there’s always amazing local performances happening throughout the summer months as well! \nCheck in on a Monday evening beginning at 3 p.m. (dinner on your own)\, sew with Judy through Thursday evening (3 meals served Tuesday through Thursday which includes continental breakfast\, and lunch and dinner catered by Tamarack Brewing Company\, in Lakeside\, MT)\, use Friday\, Saturday and Sunday for whatever you like\, then finish up class on Monday and Tuesday (3 meals will be served on these days)\, with Checkout on Wednesday of the following week by 9 a.m.!  Choose any quilt you would like to work on from the Quiltworx line of products and bring them at any stage. SUMMARY:Christmas in July – Celebration Tree Skirt
DESCRIPTION:Christmas Celebration Tree Skirt Pattern and Quiltster tutorial.  Students will learn how to navigate Quiltster and design their own color way.  Students will then kit and purchase their fabrics using their Quiltster project printout.  This is a three-day class\, two in succession with a follow up class two weeks later\, allowing time for students to piece their sections.  Final class is for assembling their quilts and instructions on how to expand or square up their project.

Access to coffee maker and more. \nSewing is from 9am-4pm in my beautiful\, large classroom. Design walls and plenty of space to spread out. You get your own table and outlet\, plenty of lighting – cutting and ironing stations also available. \nMost classes are the second Saturday of the month\, but some change due to holidays and other commitments. Floating points\, smart corners\, and template layout sheets are featured in this design and traditional piecing skills are necessary to sew the top together.
