DESCRIPTION:We are excited to bring you our retreats for 2024!  Our events are open events meaning you are free to bring any pattern that Quiltworx.com has designed to work on while attending your retreat. \nTOTAL SPACES:  11 \nSTANDARD RESERVATION TOTAL COST: $2\,350\nPRIVATE ROOM RESERVATION TOTAL COST (ONLY 1 AVAILABLE): $2\,850\nOFF-SITE RESERVATION TOTAL COST (UP TO 2 AVAILABLE): $1\,750 \n*The off-site reservation option requires that book your own lodging* \nThis retreat will be held at the Quiltworx Training Center\, which is located at 100 Lincoln Lane\, Kalispell MT.  The Quiltworx Training Center is a full-time retreat center\, so you will be required to pay a 8% bed tax. DESCRIPTION:The Lincoln Log Cabin is a great introductory project for learning how the stunning Quiltworx projects are made. Judy and Bradley Niemeyer designed the foundation block units using a technique in which part of the pieced block units are cut away after the paper piecing is completed. The cut away sections are then replaced with a secondary design element. \nThis project was designed to be Fat-Quarter friendly\, using a combination of (4) light and (4) dark fabrics. \nThe pattern uses basic paper-piecing techniques in longer\, straight lines and gentle curves\, making it a quick\, easy project. It’s perfect for everyday use and also great with seasonal fabrics.
