SUMMARY:Chisholm Trail Guild Workshop - My 2 Baby Sisters
DESCRIPTION:My Two Baby Sisters Placemat Workshop with Terre Walker. \nThis class will teach you the Quiltworx method of paper piecing to make a set of 4 placemats sized at 12″ x 19″ each. The groups include a large star\, a small star\, and an accent strip. While we will cut out all the components\, we will only be piecing a single placemat during the workshop. This class incorporates floating star points and the use of templates for cutting purposes. Like other Quiltworx patterns\, this project uses bags to organize and streamline your piecing by units. This class is designed for beginners and intermediate quilters.

SUMMARY:Lincoln Log Cabin 2-day workshop – DAY ONE
DESCRIPTION:The Lincoln Log Cabin is a great introductory project for learning how the stunning Quiltworx projects are made. Judy and Bradley Niemeyer designed the foundation block units using a technique in which part of the pieced block units are cut away after the paper piecing is completed. The cut away sections are then replaced with a secondary design element. \nThis project was designed to be Fat-Quarter friendly\, using a combination of (4) light and (4) dark fabrics. \nThe pattern uses basic paper-piecing techniques in longer\, straight lines and gentle curves\, making it a quick\, easy project. It’s perfect for everyday use and also great with seasonal fabrics. DESCRIPTION:In our Salem NH studio and via ZOOM we will work on the Dinner Plate Dahlia technique of the month – one unit at a time!  You will have the chance to learn how to piece floating points\, gentle curves\, piano keys\, narrow veins\, curved lone star units and applique.  You will use template layout sheets\, transition registration points\, and basting stitch lines.  This quilt has so many techniques to learn and enjoy! \nThere will be video tutorials available after each class\, and for those who miss a class – so sign up now with CI Donna Viau at The Masquerade while there are still some seats left! \nCLICK HERE for more info and to purchase a seat! \nClass #1 on 8/21/24\,  Class #2 on 9/04/24\,  Class #3 on 9/18/24\,  Class #4 on 10/02/24\,  Class #5 on 10/23/24\,  Class #6 on 11/06/24 and Class #7 on 11/20/24  – it’s every other Wednesday in the fall with a 2 week break after the 4th class. \nEach class will be held from 6pm – 10pm (Eastern Time)\, with all of the class instruction happening before 9pm.  The last hour will be for quilting and visiting while we work through the units of the evening.  If anyone needs to leave early – no problem! – you will get the video tutorial link to use when you get back to your project.
