DESCRIPTION:In our Salem NH studio and via ZOOM we will work on the Coral Reef technique of the month – one unit at a time!  You will have the chance to learn how to piece floating points\, gentle curves\, piano keys\, narrow veins\, and applique.  You will use template layout sheets\, transition registration points\, and basting stitch lines.  This quilt has so many techniques to learn and enjoy! \nThere will be video tutorials available after each class\, and for those who miss a class – so sign up now with CI Donna Viau at The Masquerade while there are still some seats left! \nCLICK HERE for more info and to purchase seat! \nClass #1 on 3/16/24\,  Class #2 on 4/20/24\,  Class #3 on 5/18/24\,  Class #4 on 6/15/24\,  Class #5 on 7/20/24 and Class #6 on 8/17/24   – it’s the 3rd Saturday of the month from March – August. \nEach class will be held from 10am – 3pm (Eastern Time)\, with all of the class instruction happening before 1pm.  The afternoon will be for quilting and visiting while we work through the units of the day.  If anyone needs to leave early – no problem! – you will get the video tutorial link to use when you get back to your project.

DESCRIPTION:The technique quilts are works of art that were designed to teach a variety of skill used in making many Quiltworx patterns. There have been 7 technique quilts designed. They are released every two years on January 1. The first three have now been discontinued or updated and released as general patterns. In this class you may choose to do any one of the four available technique quilts: Dinner Plate Dahlias\,  Vintage Rose\, Coral Reef or the newest one Carnival Flower. The class runs for 6 month but I encourage the students to meet with me ahead of class to select the pattern and color it using Quiltster.
