Bring any project you want to work on and we’ll have a great time together! \n$375 Retreat + Lodging + 2 dinners (Monday & Tuesday) \nWHO: Everyone! \nWHAT: Open Sew Retreat \nWHEN: Mon-Thurs\, Jan. 8-11\, 2024\, (10 am check-in\, 10 am check-out) \nWHERE: AZ House of Creative Retreats (address given with registration). There are six bedrooms with 2 – 3 comfortable twin beds available. Bring a friend or two!! \nMEALS: Because of differences in eating schedules and dietary needs\, morning and mid-day meals will be on your own. There are grocery stores and restaurants nearby\, too. Feel free to bring snacks and remember a water bottle to stay hydrated. \nDEPOSIT: $50 non-refundable deposit is due upon registration. SUMMARY:Wild Goose Island 2 of 5 day series
DESCRIPTION:We all know how busy our weekends can be\, so why not quilt on a Wednesday evening?!  Come into the studio or join via Zoom – we will have a seat waiting for you either way! \nWild Goose Island is a 99″ x 99″ beauty that can be subtle and sweet or colored crazy and wild – it’s up to your own imagination!  Certified Instructor Donna Viau was inspired to color her quilt sample like a day she spent on Nantasket Beach with her grandkids.  It was a “neutral” overcast Atlantic ocean kind of day with lots of sand shenanigans\, seagulls and bright beach towels.  Then the winter holidays got her thinking of a traditional red & green theme – so she colored another one for you! If you like either of her sample quilts colorways\, she will send you the yardage requirements so you can kit up your own\, (or hire a certified shop to kit it for you). \nDonna will provide tutorial video links on how to prepare your pattern and fabric prior to the first class. And as always\, you will be provided with tutorial links to guide you into finishing your quilt at your own pace in your own space.  Donna will also be available via text\, phone or zoom to answer questions and support you all the way through till you finish your entire quilt top. \nAll classes will be on  every other Wednesday from 6pm – 10pm\, like a fun night out with friends! \nClass #1 is on Dec 27\, 2023 from 6pm – 10pm (est) \nClass #2 is on Jan 10\, 2024 from  6pm – 10pm (est) \nClass #3 is on Jan 24\, 6pm – 10pm (est) \nClass # 4 is on Feb 7\, 6pm – 10pm (est) \nClass #5 is on Feb 21\, 6pm – 10pm (est) \nFor more class information and a way to purchase a seat\, just Click HERE!
