SUMMARY:Paper piecing the Judy Niemeyer way
DESCRIPTION:This retreat is being offered by experienced Certified Instructor\, Janet McNamara Houck. It is geared to the student who wants to learn Paper Piecing the Judy Niemeyer way or students with limited experience paper piecing. THe retreat center offers a huge sewing room equipped with individual tables\, several ironing stations with irons and several cutting stations. Each student provides 1 meal to be shared in an effort to keep costs affordable. The Cost is $500 and includes lodging. The bedrooms are upstairs\, there are 2 single rooms\, the rest are shared rooms. There is a patio area to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Depending on what the weather has been like\, there may be an opportunity to harvest a few fresh vegetables for the meals. Downtown Waynesville is a quaint town with some interesting shops. Typically\, we eat 1 breakfast out at Joey’s Pancake House. It’s quite the attraction in nearby Maggie Valley. There are 2 Quilt shops in either Waynesville or Maggie Valley.\nJan loves to share her expertise and love for all things Judy.
