DESCRIPTION:We are excited to bring you our retreats for 2023!  Our events are open events meaning you are free to bring any pattern that Quiltworx.com has designed to work on while attending your retreat. \nThis retreat will be held at the Quiltworx Training Center\, which is located at 100 Lincoln Lane\, Kalispell MT.  The Quiltworx Training Center is a full-time retreat center\, so you will be required to pay a 8% bed tax. This tax will be paid at the end of your stay during checkout. \nThere are no meals provided on the day of check-in. \nOur May #1 Retreat will include: \nCheck-in: 5/21/2023 at 3:00 p.m.\nTeaching: 5/22/2023-5/26/2023\nCheck-out: 5/27/2023 at 9:00 a.m. \n3 meals served Monday through Friday which includes continental breakfast\, and lunch and dinner catered by Tamarack Brewing Company\, in Lakeside\, MT. \nFor this retreat\, the Quiltworx  Training Center Retreat schedule will be as follows: \nJudy will be at the training center the night of check in for a couple hours to greet everyone and help you get set up. \nThe second night you will have a trunk show. \nThe retreat will include five days of teaching.  You will receive 6 hours of instruction on the teaching days. \nOne afternoon during the week of teaching days will be a shopping day where you can travel to the local quilt shops in the area. \nPAYMENT INFORMATION: \nIf your shopping cart is empty after you place your reservation\, there will be a link in your sign up email  to make your deposit\, so please check your email after you make your reservation.  Call or email us at (406) 393-2646 or retreats@quiltworx.com if you have questions. DESCRIPTION:Do you need help with a Quiltworx paper piecing pattern?  Or\, would you just like to join us for a few hours to sew with friends?  Every Friday Granny Sassy Designs\, a Certified Shop for Quiltworx\, is hosting a gathering of obsessed\, or soon to be obsessed\, paper piecing fanatics.  Lucy will be here to help you with any questions\, give tips and even help you design your own custom colorway for a new project.  Lucy has been a Certified Shop since 2017 and has been obsessed with paper piecing since 2013 and will help in any way you need.  She will be over in the corner working on her own project when you don’t need her help! \n\nBring your machine\, tools and your project.  We have a refrigerator that will be stocked with sodas and water with room for your lunch or snack if you don’t like the snacks we will provide.\n\nYou will have table space 52×24 on an adjustable height table.   We have an Oliso iron as well as a LauraStar system for your use.  You are welcome to use our larger cutting mats\, but you should bring a smaller one for your table.\n\nWe also will offer a 10% discount on anything purchased while you are at the shop.   Please be aware that our shop is online only and is set up for shipping so you won’t see all those pretty displays (other than hanging quilts) that you might see in a regular retail shop.   The shop is located in Lucy’s home with a direct entrance off the left driveway.   We are located on 35 acres just outside of Duvall.   Bring your walking shoes if you want to explore our 3+ miles of forested trails before\, during or after sewing!
