DESCRIPTION:We are excited to bring you our retreats for 2018!  This event is an event with Certified Instructor Jennifer Eubank.  Our events are open events meaning you are free to bring any pattern that Quiltworx.com has designed to work on while attending your retreat. \nThis retreat will be held at the Quiltworx Training Center\, which is located at 100 Lincoln Lane\, Kalispell MT.  The Quiltworx Training Center is a full-time retreat center\, so you will be required to pay a 7% bed tax. This tax will be paid at the end of your stay during checkout. \nOur June #2 Retreat will include: \nCheck-in: 6/26/2018 at 3:00 p.m.\nTeaching: 6/27/2018 to 7/1/2018– 4 days of teaching\nCheck-out: 7/1/2018 at 11:00 a.m. \nFor this retreat\, the Quiltworx  Training Center Retreat schedule will be as follows: \nThe first night after check in and dinner you will have a trunk show. \nThe retreat will include four days of teaching with Jennifer Eubank.  You will receive 6 hours of instruction on the teaching days. \nPAYMENT INFORMATION: \nAn initial deposit of $150 is due upon signup for this retreat and is NON-REFUNDABLE.  A second payment of $150 will be required in November 1\, 2017.  This payment is also NON-REFUNDABLE.  Final Payment is due in March 1\, 2018.  For more information read our Cancellation Policy PDF on the main retreat page. \nAir Transportation: \nNorthwest/Delta\, Alaska\, and United/Continental to Airport Code FCA \nBig D’s Taxi can provide Shuttle services to and from the airport to the Quiltworx Training Facility. SUMMARY:Glacier Star Block of the Month
DESCRIPTION:Glacier Star is the first on four technique quilts put out by Judy Neimeyer. The goal of the technique of the month program is to design quilts that incorporate a wide range of Judy’s techniques to be taught by the Quiltworx Certified Instructor program and Certified Shops and familiarize quilters with our techniques in a manner that will allow them to pick up any of our patterns and successfully complete them after they have completed one of our TOM patterns.  \n  \nThe introductory class with focus on fabric selection. Quiltster\, a web based program ($10/month or $99 a year – not required) that allows one to color Judy quilts will be demonstrated and used to help student make selections for their quilts. Students are encouraged to bring their laptops\, tablets or phone to try the program. The class will meet the first Sunday of the month through January 2019. The quilt may be done as a wall or with extensions a queen. \n
