DESCRIPTION:This class will teach you to construct placemats using paper piecing.  Techniques include curved piecing\, floating points\, “S” curves\, and the use of templates for cutting purposes.  Like other Quiltworx patterns\, this project uses bags to organize and streamline your piecing by units.  This class is designed for beginner to intermediate piecers.  This is the first class of two.

DESCRIPTION:We are excited to bring you our retreats for 2018!  This event is an event with Certified Instructor Jennifer Eubank.  Our events are open events meaning you are free to bring any pattern that Quiltworx.com has designed to work on while attending your retreat. \nThis retreat will be held at the Quiltworx Training Center\, which is located at 100 Lincoln Lane\, Kalispell MT.  The Quiltworx Training Center is a full-time retreat center\, so you will be required to pay a 7% bed tax. This tax will be paid at the end of your stay during checkout. \nOur January #1 Retreat with Jennifer Eubank will include: \nCheck-in: 1/10/2018 at 3:00 p.m.\nTeaching: 1/11/2018 to 1/13/2018 – 3 days\nCheck-out: 1/14/2018 at 11:00 a.m. \nFor this retreat\, the Quiltworx Training Center Retreats schedule will be as follows: \nThe first night after check in and dinner you will have a trunk show. \nThe retreat will include three days of teaching with Jennifer Eubank.  You will receive 6 hours of instruction on the teaching days. \nPAYMENT INFORMATION: \nAn initial deposit of $150 is due upon signup for this retreat and is NON-REFUNDABLE.  A second payment of $150 will be required in September 15\, 2017.  This payment is also NON-REFUNDABLE.  Final Payment is due in November 1\, 2017.  For more information read our Cancellation Policy PDF on the main retreat page. \nAir Transportation: \nNorthwest/Delta\, Alaska\, and United/Continental to Airport Code FCA \nBig D’s Taxi can provide Shuttle services to and from the airport to the Quiltworx Training Facility. DESCRIPTION:Monroe County Quilt Guild presents … \nA Quiltworx Desert Sky Workshop with Certified Instructor Nancy Kloster \nQuiltworx designed and provided Template Layout sheets with the instructions to speed up the cutting process\, allowing you to stack and cut your fat quarters in two groups of nine fabrics. An even amount of yardage is needed for each color. \nA sewing technique called foundation paper piecing is used when sewing the pieces onto the foundation units.  Curved piecing and traditional piecing are required to join the units after the foundation piecing is completed. \nThis small wall hanging is definitely one to add to your collection. The skill level ranges from beginner to advanced. \n
