DESCRIPTION:Turtle Island is a pattern from the Artic Star Mixer Series designed by Judy and Bradley Niemeyer.  Measuring 99″ x 99″\, Turtle Island incorporates floating points\, curved piecing on a paper\, Judy’s method for strip pieced Lone Star blocks\, “fall of a bike” easy LaMoyne Stars\, and pieced borders.   The class is offered at Quilter’s Emporium in Stafford\, Texas (Houston Metropolitan Area) as a 4 session class.  The class sessions are spaced so you can have everything pieced and ready to assemble by the last class.  If you have never sewn a Niemeyer / Quiltworx pattern\, Turtle Island is a great introduction.  Join us.  You’ll learn a lot and have fun\, too.
