SUMMARY:QUILTWORX UNIVERSITY TEXAS 2024 at Stitchin’ Heaven (Quitman\, TX)
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join us at the second Quiltworx University in Quitman\, TX! The class will be held in the brand new Stitchin Heaven Event Center\, which is attached to the Stitchin Heaven Quilt Shop and across the parking lot from lodging at the Retreat Center and Cottages. Judy’s Quiltworx University is for the everyone from the beginner to the most experienced paper-piecers. You will enjoy the opportunity to work with Judy\, Judel and some of the most knowledgeable Certified Instructors. In addition to great fun and fellowship\, you will learn Judy’s foundation paper piecing process\, speed-cutting\, chain-piecing\, curved piecing. With Judy’s new pattern mixers\, you have the incredible opportunity to create a one-of-a-kind quilt. With registration you will receive 6-months of Quiltster (which will become available approximately 4 to 6 months in advance of the event and extend for one to two months after) and will be able to use this program before the event to plan your project from block selection to selecting fabrics featured for the event that you love. \nThis will be Judy’s 6th visit to Stitchin’ Heaven to teach classes but the opportunity to work with Judy and her staff doesn’t come around often. She will be demonstrating use of her products\, tools\, and short cuts to complete amazing quilts. If you want to make a once in a lifetime quilt\, this is the event for you! \n\n\nThe Project\n\n\n\n\nJudy Niemeyer will redesign the classic Mariner’s Compass Pattern and put a mixer twist on this beautiful original! \nKits for the r-edesigned Mariner’s Compass will be available at a later date and can be purchased throught Quiltster. \nWatch for more details. All sales will be subject to applicable sales tax in the state of Texas. All orders for kits must be placed by January 30th and will be delivered to the venue at the start of the workshop.
