DESCRIPTION:An 8-day course to make this challenging quilt under the guidance of Marianne Martens-Niemeijer\, certified instructor for Quiltworx® patterns. A true masterpiece in terms of technique\, yet suitable for both the beginning and the advanced quilter.\nYou will receive the pattern in September 2025; the package of fabrics will be ready for you when the course starts.\nWhat can you expect:\nYou decide which size quilt you want to make:\nWall size = ± 2.00 x 2.00 cm 88 inch (approximately 21 meters of quilting fabric)\nQueen size = ± 2.50 x 2.50 cm 99 inch (approximately 28 meters of quilting fabric)\nYou can choose from different color variations that can be made as both Wall and Queen. It is possible to make a different color scheme for you. However\, all packages must be purchased from Quilthoeve. The package includes the pattern. The images are for example only\, colors and fabrics can be adjusted:\nYou can save an amount per month from September 2024. The amount depends on the size of the quilt and the color variation you choose. You can also pay in other installments\, if you want. The total amount must be paid before July 31\, 2025. It is recommended to take out cancellation insurance.\nYou will receive the pattern and the complete package of the quilt at home at the end of August 2025. The pattern contains 7 lesson books. The package of fabrics is delivered per group in strips. The strips are labeled. In September 2025 there will be a Zoom lesson in which you will learn how to cut out the pattern in advance. Because making the quilt takes quite a lot of time\, cutting the pattern is necessary before the course starts. Practical information:\nMaximum number of participants: 8\nLocation: Bedrijfsgebouw Verachtert\, Molseweg 132\, 2440 Geel\, Belgium\nParking is free\nWheelchair accessible\nDate: 3 to 10 October 2025\nTime: 09:00 – 17:00. The room will be closed\, so you can leave your sewing machine.\nOvernight stay: You sleep in your own home or book a hotel or B&B yourself. For lunch\, you bring your own sandwich or we order from the catering – this is personal for everyone. Coffee and tea are available at Verachtert.\nMaterial: You bring your own sewing machine.
