SUMMARY:Carnival Flower Technique at Sharon’s Attic / Judy Judy
DESCRIPTION:In 2022\, Quiltworx.com designed its seventh “Technique of the Month” pattern. The Carnival Flower Pattern brings together a wide-range of techniques for Foundation Paper Piecing\, leaving students with the ability to move on to many other Quiltworx patterns once they have completed this design. The Carnival Flower (both wall and queen sizes) include many of Judy’s techniques for paper piecing\, including cutting\, stacking\, chain piecing\, curved piecing\, strip piecing\, smart corners\, appliqué\, the use of Transition and Registration Point (TRP) Lines\, curved paper piecing\, and our newest technique\, which is an overlapping curves paper piecing process. \nAt Sharon’s Attic the technique quilts are taught in an open class that run the first Sunday\, the second Saturday or third Tuesday each month. This provides the student the opportunity to attend at their own pace. With the technique quilt a commitment of six sessions is required. \nA student can also use this time to work on any other Quiltworx pattern. It may be done as a single session or multiple as need. \nEach session must be scheduled by call the shop and adding your name to the list. The busy shop then can control the use of the big classroom use.
