DESCRIPTION:Terre Walker will be the speaker for the April 2025 meeting of the Austin Area Quilt Guild presenting the lecture “Be Kind to Your Body While Quilting”. Terre is a Certified Instructor for Quiltworx/Judy Niemeyer patterns since 2016.  Drawing on her 25 plus years of quilting and former career as a massage therapist\, Terre will explain how to create the optimal environment in your sewing studio with an emphasis on body mechanics while cutting\, sewing\, and ironing.  The meeting is held at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Austin.
