About Our Shop
Jenny & Thornton Root opened Finely Quilted June 1, 2017. Jenny doesn’t remember a time when sewing and quilting were not part of her life, having grown up under the quilt frames in her Grandmother’s Livingroom.
Finely Quilted offers a full APQS longarm showroom and rental program. In store we carry wide backs, batting, thread – everything you need to finish your quilts. We also offer longarm service for those who would rather leave the quilting to us.
Our Classroom, is always a buzz – that is why we call it “The Hive”. We have been offering 3-5-day Quiltworx retreats with Certified Instructor Martha Penner since our doors opened. We have a full list of classes lined up for everyone from the very beginner to the advanced. Becoming a Certified Shop has added to our excitement and love of everything Quiltworx. We are looking forward to helping you find that perfect pattern, kit, and/or fabric to finish your projects.
